Robert Miles real name, [Roberto CONCINA] was born on November 3, 1969 in Neuchatel, Switzerland. It is a producer, composer and musician trance, ambient, techno and other electronic music.
Biography is the son of Robert Miles and Antonietta Albino Concina.
Although not as a prodigy, Miles became an expert on the piano during his childhood and has been in the music scene since 1988. He worked as a DJ in some Italian clubs, and in 1990 used his savings to establish his own studio and buy used equipment.
In 1994, Miles wrote his most famous composition: Children. The simple popularity slowly took in the first two weeks of being up for sale, in 1995, sold more than 30000 copies in Europe and topped the lists of popularity in many countries. He gave Thousands platinum in England and Germany and a gold record in other countries. He was regarded as the single most successful 1996. In December 2004, Children reach new audiences in England to be used in a collaboration between Angel City and Ministry of Sound entitled "Do You Know?", Which reached into the Top 10 in England.
The next single from Miles was Fable, with the voice of Fiorella Quinn. His debut album, Dreamland, was released on June 7, 1996 in Europe while the song was a hit, a few days later was released in the United States with an additional One and One song sung by Maria Nayler and written by Billy Steinberg , Rick Nowels and Marie Claire D'ubaldo. This song was very popular and then was released as a single in the United States and Germany. In late 1996, Miles launched a new version of Dreamland, called Dreamland - The Winter Edition in Germany, which contained the song One and One (which was not included in the original Dreamland in Europe). The song was originally written for the Polish singer Edyta Górniak, but it recorded until a year later, and was included in their debut album.
In November 1997, Miles launched the Freedom as a new single song of his second album 23am, which was launched on November 27, 1997. Containing a different meaning to Dreamland, 23am incorporated more songs with voice while maintaining the essence of Miles with the piano. It was at this time when he worked alongside Richard D. James under the name of Aphex Twins.
Miles was in recess until June 11, 2001 when it launched its new album, Organik, which aired on vinyl and CD. The new single was Paths and is considered by many fans as a radical change in musical style of Miles.
In 2003, a remix album was released under the name Organik Remixes, containing songs winners of the contest that Miles said on its website and some remixes of artists like The Future Sound of London.
In late 2003, Miles changed his residence to Los Angeles, he began producing his house S: alt Records, and in 2004 released an album created with Trilok Gurtu, entitled Miles Gurtu.
